Recycling is a very important part of the
Convenience Centers operation. The Loudon facility presented a challenge to improve recycling of cardboard, news paper, magazines and cans. The most cost effective solution was to transport all the recyclables to the Lenoir City facility where we have the equipment to handle the material. Below is the first proto type of a trailer designed to transport cardboard to Lenoir City for processing. Coming soon will be trailers to transport news paper, magazines and cans. If this system proves successful it will be implemented when the new Greenback center comes on line. |
